SGX (July - December 2024) Fall Internship Programme

You will be immersed in the respective specialist functions - at SGX, we believe that our interns are involved in real-time work from Day 1.

We have roles open in:
- Securities Business Ops/Business Support
Securities Business Ops/Business Support:
Brief Overview:
The Reconciliation team is in charge of:
- Reconciliation of accounts maintained by Clearing Houses and Depository to ensure they are in good order
- Verification of shares scrip custodised with custodian bank to ensure they are in accordance with Depository Register
- Verification of collaterals (LCs and BGs) to ensure the physical documents match with internal records
Learning Objectives:
The selected intern would be able to learn how account reconciliation is conducted and the various settlement processes across the clearing houses and depository.
Knowledge and Skills requirements:
- Have good interpersonal and communication skill
- Be proficient with Microsoft Office Application especially Excel
- Have strong analytical and problem solving skill
- Be a strong team player with the ability to work independently
- Advantageous to have knowledge in accounting, financial services, macros
