Business Function
Group Technology and Operations (T&O) enables and empowers the bank with an efficient, nimble and resilient infrastructure through a strategic focus on productivity, quality & control, technology, people capability and innovation.
In Group T&O, we manage the majority of the Bank's operational processes and inspire to delight our business partners through our multiple banking delivery channels.
Responsibilities
- Lead a geographically distributed team of Level 2 Support Engineers
- Supervise troubleshooting and resolution of production issues for MIS Big Data Application (Technology Stack
- Java Spark/Scala Spark on CDH, Angular, Spring Boot, PCF/TanzuPaas, MARIADB, Tableau, Grafana)
- Own and Drive Automaton activities for toil removal
- Establish ROTA and communication channels to manage daily/monthend batches
- Drive Production Support related Knowledge Management activities
- Lead Minor Work Enhancement workstream for Big Data Application
- Train and mentor junior members of team on best practices associated with Release & Deployment Management, Incident Management, Problem Management and Capacity Management
- Participate in the research, design and development of scaling strategies
- Ensure compliance with company procedures and security policies
- Job may involve occasional shift work
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's in Information Systems/Information Technology
- Experience in conceptualizing and implementing innovative automation techniques to enable operational efficiencies
- Problem-Solver with analytical and leanagile mindset
- Strong articulation and communication skills
- Good understanding of SRE (Site Reliability Engineering) and DevOps
- Solid experience in Linux shell scripting
- Experience in Big Data Analysis
- Prior Development & Support experience across range of technologies/platforms/tools
- Cloudera Hadoop, Spark, Hive, HDFS, MARIADB, Angular, Spring Boot, Pivotal Cloud Foundry (Tanzu PaaS), Grafana
- Experience with BI Tools such as Tableau
- Experience with scheduling Tools
- TWS (preferred), Control-M, Autosys
- Familiarity with JIRA and ITSM Tool (iCHAMP)
- Ability to collaborate in culturally and geographically diversified team environment
- Experience in BFSI domain is preferred
- ITIL, Agile Certifications Desirable
