Primary responsible for overseeing the coordination of end-to-end change management activities, ensuring that change management processes and procedures are followed enabling beneficial changes to be made with minimum disruption to IT services.

Secondary focus on Continual Service improvement process.

  • Owns the change management process with accountability for the effective running of the process
  • Lead a team of specialists who are responsible to manage the change management process, including:
  • Overseeing the coordination of end-to-end change management activities
  • Evaluate all requests for change, assessing risk and impact
  • Ensure all requests for change are properly classified, recorded, authorized, and closed
  • Chair or attend weekly change management meetings including CABs
  • Ensure all changes are properly scheduled and handled
  • Reports to all stakeholders on status of change requests and scheduled change result
  • Investigate, collect data and report on failed and unauthorised changes
  • Provide guidance and support on Change Management related activities according to Singtel GIT policy
  • Address concerns/issues and track the status of all changes
  • Act as an escalation point for change conflicts and change management related issues
  • Responsible for meeting change management KPI metrics
  • Responsible for driving Continual Service Improvement (CSI) initiatives to improve service management processes with focus on Incident, Problem, Change, Monitoring Event and Configuration management
  • Work with various stakeholders to identify and manage service improvement opportunities
  • Responsible to update and manage the CSI register:
  • Identify improvement opportunities to be included in the CSI register
  • Review and prioritize improvements in the CSI register
  • Build improvement plans and drive improvement initiatives
  • Report on progress and status of service improvement initiatives
  • Ensure that baseline data is captured to measure improvement against it
  • Responsible for the review and analysis of data captured

Skills for Success:

  • IT Diploma and above
  • At least 5 years of experience performing a Change Management role with 2 years of experience leading a team
  • Strong ITIL based process management experience
  • ITIL V3 foundation certificate
  • Broad but strong technical knowledge
  • Excellent communication (verbal and written) skills
  • Excellent relationship building and people skills
  • Ability to lead, influence and coordinate resources to achieve results
  • Ability to perform under pressure
  • Autonomous and selfmotivated
  • Demonstrates initiative and a commitment to continuous improvement
  • Analytical and problemsolving skills
  • Keen attention to detail
  • Flexibility in approach to problem solving
