Our Client:
Our client is an expanding lubricant supplier to the Marine Industry, has a presence in over 1,000 ports across 800 countries, supported by 10 service centers worldwide.
The Responsibilities:
- Credit Risk Assessment
- Assess the creditworthiness of both new and existing customers through the analysis of financial statements, credit reports, and pertinent data
- Set and periodically review credit limits based on risk analysis and company policies
- Credit Approval
- Execute credit decisions in accordance with established policies
- Collections Management
- Oversee customer accounts to ensure prompt payments
- Deploy effective collection strategies to minimize outstanding receivables and mitigate bad debt risks
- Communication
- Convey credit terms, policies, and address creditrelated issues in collaboration with sales, customer service, and finance teams
- Respond to customer inquiries regarding credit terms and payment matters
- Credit Reporting
- Maintain accurate credit records for all customers
- Provide regular reports on credit performance to management
- Customer Relationship Management
- Cultivate positive relationships with customers to facilitate seamless credit transactions
- Credit Policy Development
- Contribute to the development and enhancement of credit policies and procedures
- Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices in credit management
- Legal Compliance
- Ensure compliance with laws and regulations related to credit and collections
- Collaborate with legal teams when necessary to pursue legal action on delinquent accounts
The Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field
- With at least 4 years of Auditing experience
- Demonstrate proven experience in internal control and familiar with Manufacturing & Oil and Gas Industry
- Exhibit excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and effective negotiation skills
- Have knowledge of financial analysis, credit scoring, and risk assessment
- Be familiar with relevant legal and regulatory requirements
- Proficient in SAP and MS Excel
