Job Description:

Position Summary


We are looking for an enthusiastic product manager/senior product specialist to be part of our global Low Voltage Component Drives business unit, headquarters in Singapore.


You would be a key member of our global product management team and would be responsible for driving the business performance of the assigned product portfolio by collaborating with the sales organization across the globe.


You would be a core team member in developing new products for the worldwide market by formulating a business plan, and product strategy, defining portfolios and market requirements, pricing, forecasting, competitive analysis, product launches, service level requirement, and product life cycle management.

You would collaborate with other global product management teams, engineering, supply chain, regional sales organization, and other functional stakeholders.

Responsibilities:


  • Exceed Business Unit's financial target.
  • Execute commercial programs to support order and market share growth.
  • Manage product life cycle to maximize growth (market share) and profitability
  • Supports global sales & marketing organization to understand customer needs, to exceed business growth and incremental market share.
  • Knowledgeable of customer needs, competition, industry trends, technology, system integrity.
  • Lead (or as a core team member) new global product development (NPI) and deliver product innovation from idea generation stage to development to product launch, meeting performance, functional specifications, customer' valued driver, time to market, development cost, product cost, and reliability objectives.
  • Ability to drive and lead a collaborative effort in a multicultural and global crossfunctional team such as sales, marketing, channel, engineering, quality, supply chain, and other business units to achieve organization objectives and exceed customer experience.
  • Manage multiple projects and relentlessly prioritize. Drives outcomes with speed, and ownership and compares ourselves with the best.
  • Ability to work independently and yet is a team player. Understood objectives and determines the process to meet goals.
  • Open to receiving and sharing new ideas.
  • Regularly interacts with senior management or executive levels on matters concerning critical functional areas, divisions, and/or customers.

Qualifications:
Education, Desired Skills, and Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical & Electronic Engineering or equivalent.
  • Possess a minimum of five year's experience in Product Management, Application/Commercial Engineering, and/or Sales experience in variable frequency drives or the Industrial Automation industry.
  • Being familiar with network system integration involving programmable logic control and product security is a plus.
  • Familiarity with agile processes like SAFe is a plus.
  • Communicate clearly and concisely in both verbal and written form and with an influencing capability.
  • As this is a global role, be willing and able to operate outside normal working hours on some weekdays evening.
  • Light traveling internationally when requires.
