Description

Overview - Reporting to the Senior Manager, the Events Executive is responsible for completing end-to-end project management for in-person and online events for SHRI.

The role includes budget management, event planning and coordination with various parties. The executive will act as the direct liaison with internal and external client stakeholders.


Delivering a wide range of events, the Events Executive shall be adept at matching event delivery with business objectives and commercial opportunities whilst managing these events.


The Events Executive will gain rich experience through working in an organisation that is undergoing transformation whilst delivering a diverse portfolio including large-scale exhibitions and conferences.

**Key accountabilities


Specific responsibilities include:


  • Assist the team in formulating, coordinating and implementing exceptional events in order to enhance members' image and increase profitability, in which events are not limited to inperson or virtual events
  • Ensure the best attendee experience from preevent to postevent
  • Produce and maintain a timeline for each event, ensuring that the onsite and online event runs to schedule and deadlines are met
  • Liaise with the venues to ensure that all set up, catering and numbers are as required and in line with the budget spend
  • Coordinate and brief the involved team and ensure testings are arranged, especially for hybrid delivered events
  • Carry out additional tasks as requested to support the growth of the company and its events

Membership maintenance:Oversee and maintain members' information in the Membership Management System and organize membership package for new members

  • Handle daytoday membership call enquiries & talk to new leads & maintain good relationship with existing customer base.
  • Sending regular reminders and followingup with members on payment of their membership subscription fees;
  • Dissemination of information or publicity of programmes to members;
  • Work in conjunction with marketing to optimize engagement with partnerships and drive new business.

Administrative:Support the administrative duties of the Office (procurement, correspondence, filing, records safekeeping; digitalization of records, etc)

  • Perform other administrative duties including sales reports and spearhead new operational requirements when needed.

Skills and experiences

  • Experience in delivering B2B live and virtual events for a minimum of 1 year
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Knowledge and experience of online platforms and live streaming technologies (i.e. Zoom, etc.)
  • Strong communications skills and attention to details
  • Exceptional organisation and time management skills
  • Able to use own initiative and work proactively
  • Selfmotivated, eager to learn, flexible and adaptable
