Description

My client is seeking a Project manager to be part of the growing business. You will be part of the professional services team and be responsible for planning, organizing, and executing IT projects within budget, scope, and schedule. The IT Project Manager will work closely with stakeholders, team members, and external vendors to ensure successful project delivery.

Responsibilities

:

Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and timelines in collaboration with stakeholders.
Develop comprehensive project plans, including resource allocation, task sequencing, and dependency identification.
Manage project risks, issues, and changes, and implement effective mitigation strategies.
Build and lead crossfunctional project teams, assigning responsibilities and tasks.
Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment and engagement throughout the project lifecycle.
Establish and maintain effective vendor relationships, ensuring deliverables meet quality standards.
Prepare and present regular project status reports to stakeholders, highlighting progress, issues, and risks.

Requirements

:

Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field. A master's degree is a plus.
Proven experience as an IT Project Manager, successfully delivering projects on time and within budget.
Knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies.
Experience with government projects is desirable.
Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall project management frameworks.
PMP certification is desirable.
