Job description
Conduct research in IEEE Wireless LAN technologies with focus on next generation Wi-Fi 8, study related technical issues, and work on novel features or relevant techniques to create patents for inclusion into future Wi-Fi standards
Represent Panasonic to attend IEEE standardization conferences, submit and discuss technical contributions with meeting delegates
Work closely with Panasonic team in monitoring standard development progress and technology trend for charting future research directions
Conduct simulations to support and/or evaluate research work, if applicable
Job Requirements
Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD (preferred) in Electrical or Computer Engineering or any other related field, with wireless communication background
Good understanding and experience with IEEE WLAN protocol family at the Physical (PHY) and/or Medium Access Control (MAC) layers
Strong analytical, research and problem-solving skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and interpersonal skills
Self-motivated, proactive, good team player
Knowledge and experience in wireless simulation using MATLAB, C/C++, python and/or other tools will be a plus
Minimum 1 to 5 years of relevant working experience
