[What the role is]

You will be part of MPA's Shipping Division that is instrumental in maintaining the Singapore Ship Registry (SRS) as a major and quality flag through working in close partnerships with ship owners and operators, and the wider maritime industry to facilitate the growth of their maritime businesses in Singapore.

[What you will be working on]

Your key duties include:

Record of bill of sale and mortgage and updating the changes to ship's particulars in the register
Carry out testing for newly rolledout services and system enhancements
Corresponding and liaising with ship owners, ship managers, lawyers and bankers as well as attending to the daytoday office routine such as enquiries from the general public on services provided by the Singapore Ship Registry (SRS)
Support digitalisation effort and development of new ship registry system

[What we are looking for]

You should be a good team player, is meticulous and able to work independently. You should also possess good interpersonal and communication skills.

As this is a fast-paced job, you should have good time management skills and be able to work well under pressure.

This position will be a 2-year contract appointment.
