Early Childhood Programme Facilitator - Outram, Singapore - Yong-En Care Centre

Yong-en Care Centre (YCC) is growing.We are looking for experienced and energetic early childhood professionals with a heart to serve our communities in Jalan Kukoh/ Chin Swee.
Reporting to the Manager and Director, FSS, the incumbent is responsible for facilating the extended childminding educational programme for children aged 3 to 8 years old as part of a team and assisting in other children-related programmes in Yong-en Care Centre.
Responsibilities:
- Develop lesson plans, teaching materials and adopt developmentally appropriate teaching and learning approaches to facilitate development and learning for children between 3 and 8 years old
- Review children's learning progress, goals and family priorities and identifying new teaching approaches based on emerging teaching and/or sector trends and implement appropriate classroom management strategies
- Conduct caregiving assessment and provide caregiving in accordance with standards and procedures
- Coordinate classbased activities with a multidisciplinary team and volunteers
- Support the implementation of centre initiatives and programmes and outreach activities to promote Centre programmes and services
- Guide and support volunteers in executing programme activities
- Collaborate with social work staff and families to ensure continuity of care and learning between the home and the Centre
- Attend to public enquiries
- Maintain proper records and prepare reports and undertake any other projects or duties assigned
Job Requirements
- Has at least 25 years of relevant experience working with children 38 years old Passionate about working with children 38 years old from disadvantaged family backgrounds
- Patient, thoughtful, calm and resilient
- Creative, proactive, responsible, and clientcentric
- High integrity, strong team player, passionate about working with children and parents
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and able to converse in English, Mandarin, Malay and local languages
- Proficiency in MS36
- Able to commit to working at least 3 days on weekdays (3pm 10pm) including some Saturdays (26pm) alongside a multidisciplinary team and volunteers
- Passion to serve in the communities served by YCC
Job Types:
Full-time, Part-time
Part-time hours: 24 per week
Salary:
$1, $2,500.00 per month
