Description

The individual is responsible for supervising and driving a passionate sales team on the assigned territory covering the joints reconstruction portfolio (knees and hips).

The role provides leadership, mentorship and customer product expertise to the sales and technical specialist team.

As a people manager, the individual is expected to meet or exceed established team sales goals through the implementation of sales activities.

At this level, the role has increased responsibility including, but not limited to, additional skills, multiple lines/products, diverse teams, etc.

This job is eligible for sales incentives/sales commission.


Reporting line
This position reports to Business Unit Manager.


People management responsibilities

  • Lead, coach, empower and develop team of sales representatives in the assigned accounts to achieve business goals.
  • Handle training of team of sales representatives and technical specialists.
  • Conduct performance evaluations.

Job responsibilities

  • Interviews, hires, trains and evaluates the performance of sales representatives.
  • Establishes team sales goals, and provides effective coaching of sales representatives to consistently improve their plans and performance.
  • Responsible for sales representatives' promotions, incentives and provides motivation as needed.
  • Provides account support and administration to increase company products' presence with assigned accounts.
  • Analyze sales data to find opportunities for increased efficiency and sales on both a group and individual level to optimize salesforce excellence.
  • Assists sales team with questions and supports customers requiring additional support.
  • Collects, utilizes and disseminates all vital marketing information to support portfolio growth.
  • Supports specific sales events or projects in close partnership with marketing to improve sales performance.
  • Supports training of technical specialists to ensure efficient case coverage for assigned accounts.
  • Works closely with franchise manager to implement annual/quarterly sales plan and essential changes required to achieve objectives.
  • Consistently promote and champion the highest standards of professionalism, integrity and compliance at all times, including our Global Code of Business Conduct and Ethics and related policies and procedures.

Qualifications:


  • University/Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent
  • Proven experience over 5 years in medical devices sales.
  • 1 to 3 years in a sales/ people management position preferred.
  • Orthopedic knowledge in joints reconstruction preferred, with experience in handling operational aspects.
  • Strong teammate with excellent interpersonal, communication & presentation skills.
  • Strong, demonstrated leadership qualities, driven by a passion to excel in a customercentric organization.
  • Business acumen and critical thinking skills

Location
This position will be based in Singapore.
