The Manufacturing Technology (ManTech) Engineer is part of the project pioneer team to start up Pall industrial's latest new manufacturing plant in Singapore, by working with our equipment suppliers closely to design, build and qualify the most advanced filter production equipment to equip the brand new plant in Singapore.

This position is part of the Advanced Manufacturing Team and will be located in Benoi, Singapore.


In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
Study Pall filters product and manufacturing processes, to design and develop suitable manufacturing equipment together with equipment suppliers.


Work with peer engineers in Manufacturing Technology (ManTech), Product engineering (PE), manufacturing engineering (ME) etc., responsible for new equipment development by reviewing vendors' design concepts, P&ID, and mechanical electrical schematic drawings to meet advanced filters' manufacturing process requirements.

Follow through with equipment projects including machine design, build, and delivery progress.

Prepare URS, FAT, SAT, IQ qualification protocol, and qualify new equipment and installation.

Support and review all utility preparedness as required for production equipment needs.


Provide training to the production team, develop equipment standard operating documents (SOP), and ensure proper and safe operation of the production equipment.


The essential requirements of the job include:
Bachelor's degree or above in engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical etc.).

Design and improvement experience in Mechatronics, Automation Machinery or Acid/solvent wet clean tools.

Min 5 years of hands-on experience in new equipment installation commissioning, qualification, and troubleshooting.


It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
Semiconductor, medical device manufacturing cleanroom production environment.

Conversing in Japanese language.
