Key Responsibilities:

Production Management:
Plan and schedule production activities to ensure timely delivery of cooked-food preparations.
Monitor production progress and make adjustments to maintain efficiency and productivity.
Allocate resources effectively to meet production targets while minimizing waste.

Quality Control:
Enforce strict quality control measures to ensure that cooked-food preparations meet company and regulatory standards.
Conduct regular inspections of raw materials, work in progress, and finished products to identify and rectify any quality issues.
Implement corrective actions to address quality deviations and prevent future occurrences.

Safety Compliance:
Promote a culture of safety in the production area by enforcing safety guidelines and protocols.
Conduct regular safety training sessions for production staff to minimize workplace accidents and injuries.
Ensure that all machinery and equipment are in good working condition and comply with safety regulations.

Team Leadership:

Recruit, train, and supervise production staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their roles effectively.

Set performance targets for the team and provide regular feedback on their performance.
Encourage teamwork and maintain a positive work environment to boost employee morale and productivity.

Inventory Management:
Monitor inventory levels of raw materials and finished products to prevent stockouts or excess stock.
Coordinate with procurement and logistics teams to ensure a smooth supply chain process.

Process Improvement:
Continuously identify opportunities to improve production processes, reduce costs, and enhance overall efficiency.
Implement process improvements and best practices to optimize production output.

Compliance and Documentation:
Ensure compliance with relevant food safety and hygiene regulations, as well as other legal requirements.
Maintain accurate production records, reports, and documentation for internal and external audits.


Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Food Technology, or a related field is preferred.
  • Proven experience in a supervisory role within a food manufacturing environment, particularly in cookedfood preparations.
  • Strong knowledge of food safety regulations, quality control standards, and production processes.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills to effectively manage and motivate a diverse team.
  • Problemsolving abilities and the capacity to make quick decisions in a fastpaced production environment.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining highquality standards.
  • Familiarity with inventory management and production planning software is advantageous.

OTHER DETAILS

- Required to work on weekends & public holidays.

- Required to work on night shift
