About the role


The Regional Treasury Intern will work closely with the Regional Treasury and Tax manager to provide finance support, in particular, treasury, to business operations across the Asia-Pacific region.


What you will be doing
Management of treasury matters

  • Monitor daily treasury position of ASPAC entities.
  • Ensure excess cash are properly invested / lent to HQ.
  • Ensure foreign currency cash exposure is minimized.
  • Ensure cash forecast is completed by ASPAC entities on a regular basis.
  • Monitor and manage ASPAC cash pooling balance.
  • Verify interest calculation sent by HQ and bank.
  • Ensure that bank signatories are up to date and in line with treasury procedure.
  • Assist with yearly bank facilities renewal.
  • Assist with half monthly treasury reporting to HQ treasury department.
  • Monthly reconciliation between treasury system and financial reporting system.
  • Coordinate among banks, entities, regional office and HQ for banking and loan documents (e.g. bank's KYC questionnaire, board resolutions for signing mandate, bank confirmation, intraASPAC loan agreements)
  • Monitor receivables sale program.
  • Monitor bank covenants to ensure our adherence.
  • Bank guarantees matters.
  • Internet banking administration and technical support to users.
  • Involvement in yearly budget on balance sheet and cash flow statement checking.
  • Assist with managing relationship with banks
Management of accounting matters

  • Maintain full set of accounts of an investment holding business unit. (SPP)
  • Other adhoc duties

QHSE

  • Participate in the setup and followup of internal standard procedures to enhance productivity and transparency
  • Maintain acceptable Health, Safety and Environmental risk levels in his/her area of responsibility
  • Ensure the compliance with applicable legal requirements

Requirements:


  • Undergraduate in Accountancy or Financerelated courses
  • Outstanding organizational skills (prioritize, plan, multitask, follow up and control)
  • Meticulous and analytical
  • Positive and highly adaptable
  • Comfortable dealing with people at all levels and of different country and culture
  • Can work independently and work well in a team
