Job description:

Charterhouse is hiring for a Head of Machine Learning to join an internet company in a newly created role within their APAC team.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

As a Head of Machine Learning, you will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and enhancing the end-to-end Machine Learning platform for the company that will be hosted on AWS Sagemaker.

You will also work on developing uplift and pricing models.

REQUIREMENTS:

You should have at least 8 to 12 years of proven experience and mínimally 5 years of experience as a team manager with direct management responsibilities in one or more of these roles:
Senior Machine Learning Engineer, Senior MLOps Engineer, Senior Software Engineer, Senior Data Engineer.
You will also be required to be fully competent in Python. Java and Scala will be preferred. You will need to be proficient in Hadoop, Spark, Hive and/or Impala. Experience in Generative AI or LLMs will be preferred.
