Description

Conducts or participates in research, design, development and testing of Mechanical and Electronic System including components modelling and firmware development (software and hardware).

Responsibilities:

1) To design, develop microcontroller base mechatronic industrial control equipment/system.

3) Support complete product development cycle from design concept to prototype and production.

4) To perform functional testing of developed hardware and software to ensure correct operation and compatibility.

5) Able to produce production documents such as BOM, product specification, user manual and software documentation.

6) Under work direction of Product Lead and Manager, proceeding with own initiative, performs complex Mechatronic engineering duties following company standards and procedures, working closely with other engineers and customers.

Qualifications:

1) Bachelor's degree or recognized academic qualification in EE/EEE/ECE/ Mechatronics or equivalent.

2) Relevant working experience of min 2 years and level of exposure to full product development processes from design through to production stages;
3) Familiar with Arduino type microcontrollers.

4) Familiar with LabView platform.

5) Able to use CAD tools such as SolidWorks is a plus.

6) Knowledge in mechanical design and engineering is a plus.

7) Experience in PCBA design is a plus.

8) Effective communication skills and fluent in English and Chinese.

9) Occasional travel to customers' sites.
