Description

The Institute's research focuses on a host of Interdisciplinary Research Programmes (IRPs), Flagship Programmes, Consortium Platforms and an Accelerator Programme that covers the energy value chain from generation to innovative end-use solutions, motivated by industrialisation and deployment.

Key Responsibilities:

System configuration and sizing of subsystems
Procurement of SOFC, customised reactor and other auxiliaries
Integration of ammonia reactor to SOFC system, and perform equilibrium study
Bench test of integrated ammoniafed SOFC system
Conduct experiments to collect data for analysis and to verify model and presence of Nox
Field test of integrated ammoniafed SOFC system
Assist in drafting the progress and final report and other documents that are required for the project reporting
Any other tasks as requested by the PI and Co-PIs

Job Requirements:

Master's or PhD in Engineering or related field
Expertise and research experience in system controls and communications is highly preferred
Experience in working with fuel cell and/or ammonia is an advantage
Publication track record is an advantage
Able to work independently to achieve the research milestones and tasks given
Proficiency in English
