Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
PURPOSE
He/she will be responsible for developing and maintaining accounting procedures, to ensure accurate and timely financial statements.
This position requires tight respect of deadlines and a multitude of accounting activities including P&L and sales analysis, financial reporting, year-end, audit preparation, implementation of accounting software and other duties in finance field.
RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES
- Assist the Company in meeting the budgeted financial and profit objectives
- Provide analytical support and business analysis
- Interpret data for the purpose of improving costing and operational performances
- Develop reports for forecasting, trending, and whatif analysis
- Prepare budgets/forecasts per company and per brand
- Account reconciliation and analysis: Prepaid Expenses, Deposits, Accrued Expenses, Investments and Intercompany balances.
- Process monthly and year end process, accounts payable/receivable, cash receipts and credit cards settlements, treasury, budgeting, cash forecasting, revenue and expenditure variance analysis, capital assets reconciliations, fixed assets activity, consolidating travelling expenses and other cash/credit card expenses and manage the daily/weekly banking requirements.
- Plan, coordinate and execute annual financial audit with company auditor.
- Responsible in the compilation of information for the Company's quarterly and annual tax returns.
- Responsible for development and implementation of new procedures and features to enhance the workflow of the department.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's/ Diploma of Degree in Accounting
- Minimum of 5 years of experience
- Good computer skills including basic accounting system Quickbook Online
- Able to handle multiple tasks and stay organized
- Must be PC proficient and able to thrive in a fast pace setting. Must have strong and advance knowledge with Microsoft Excel, Access, Word & databases.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- High attention to details and accuracy.
- High adaptability level and fast learner
- Proven track records/knowledge of accounting principles, practices and regulations.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines required.
- Strong initiative and ability to manage multiple projects as well as strong follow through skills
- Ability to complete projects timely and accurately critical
- Must be detail oriented with strong organizational and analytical skills
- Ability to work well with others in the fast paced and dynamic environment
