Proposal Engineer

About the Role

Reporting to the Regional Manager
Precontracts, the Proposal Engineer is responsible for ensuring detailed tender submissions are compiled in accordance with company procedures for Senior Management Review.
Communicate with Operations and Regional Managers in reviewing all aspects of the tender including Construction Methodology, Commercial/Technical Risks and Opportunities, Alternatives, Submission Documentation, Production Rates, Material and Subcontract Enquiries and any Programming Requirements.
Facilitate review meetings and work closely with Bid Managers and Estimators to support various bids as assigned.
Development of construction plans, including staff, labour, plant histograms.
Development of construction schedule for EPC activities.
Development of cost estimates in accordance with client requirements.
Analysis of RFQs and tender documents.
Support tender proposals
Writing submission documents.
Conduct site visits as and when necessary.
13 month year end bonus

About You
To be considered for the opportunity, you will need the following:

Relevant Tertiary Qualifications in Engineering.
Minimum 35 years of project management and or estimating experience.
Focused on meeting objectives and timeframes through the use of Company processes.
Competent in use of relevant inhouse software.
Passionate about the values of safety & care, honesty & integrity, customer focus, working together, and performance excellence.
