What the role is

  • The Financing Ecosystem Division (FED) works closely with financial players in Singapore to ensure availability and accessibility of capital (debt, equity, other structures) to support Singapore enterprises across their lifecycle.
You will be part of the team that

  • Advises and helps companies address their financing needs to support their growth strategies
  • Closely engage financial institutions to develop partnerships, especially managing the participating financial institutions on the Enterprise Financing Scheme
  • Manage a portfolio of companies in their financing journey and participate in policy development

What you will be working on

  • You will need to:
  • Develop an intimate understanding and advise on the business financing needs of companies within your assigned sector portfolio
  • Closely engage and monitor the companies within your assigned sector portfolio and proactively address needs in a timely manner
  • Manage, track and review the performance of financing programmes
  • Closely engage key stakeholders (industry partners and other government agencies/ministries) on the work we do; and
  • Participate in policy development as required

What we are looking for

  • Job requirements
  • Background in Banking and Finance/Accountancy/Insurance underwriting
  • Good interpersonal and relationship building skills
  • Excellent analytical, verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to perform under pressure and in a collaborative environment
  • Strong team player
