Role Overview:


  • As a Merchandiser specializing in the Kids category, you'll play a crucial role in driving the retail success. Your responsibilities will revolve around curating and managing the Kids product assortment, ensuring that the offerings are appealing, and meet the needs of the young customers. _

Role Detail:


  • Location: Macpherson HQ with travel required for merchandising purposes
  • Salary Range: $3000 $3500
  • Benefits: Annual Wage Supplement (13th Month Bonus) + Variable Bonuses.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Conduct market research to identify new trends, competitors, and consumer behavior specific to the Kids category.
  • Maintain accurate categorization of product item attributes within the Kids segment.
  • Analyze weekly product sellthrough data and generate monthly reports for the Kids category.
  • Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to support merchandising efforts and execute key projects.
  • Coordinate launch plans and collaborate with the Logistics Department for smooth delivery of Kids products.
  • Manage store transfers of Kids merchandise to achieve sales and sellthrough objectives.
  • Work closely with the Visual Merchandising team to create captivating instore displays for the Kids section.
  • Efficiently report weekly action plans to the Department Head, focusing on the Kids category.

Entry Requirements:


  • Diploma/Degree in Business/Retail Management/Statistics/Business Analytics.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in merchandising, retail buying, or relevant field.
  • Strong knowledge of merchandising processes, buying strategies, and trends.
  • Excellent analytical skills with a strong working knowledge of Excel.
  • Willingness to travel for merchandising purposes.
