What the role is
We seek an experienced and highly motivated researcher to further expand and strengthen the vector-borne disease research programme at the Environmental Health Institute (EHI), National Environment Agency (NEA).
What you will be working on
What we are looking for
The job might be for you if you possess the following qualities:
- PhD in Medical Entomology, Biology, Virology or related disciplines
- Knowledge and expertise in biting arthropods' biology, virology, molecular biology and the field of vectorpathogen interactions
- A record of highquality scientific research in related fields, demonstrated by publications in peerreviewed scientific journals
- Experience in insectary work, including colonising arthropods and vectorpathogen interaction research studies, will be an advantage
- Excellent organisational, analytical, and interpersonal skills
- Able to work in a fastpaced environment and manage multiple priorities concurrently
- Able to work independently and collaborate effectively across multiple crossfunctional teams
- Selfdriven and open to development opportunities
- Able to work staggered hours or after office hours, weekends and public holidays
