Purchasing Officer - Singapore - COLUMBIA SHIPMANAGEMENT (SINGAPORE) PTE LTD
Description
The Purchasing Officer shall have the following qualifications:
- Related education or equivalent training and experience;
- Excellent knowledge of the English language;
- Knowledge of computer programs;
- Willingness to learn and adopt new systems and ideas;
- Good communication skills as well as the ability to work within a team.
- Providing purchasing services in compliance with the purchasing procedures;
- Informing Technical Superintendents immediately of any problems related to purchasing matters;
- Maintaining the computerised purchasing program;
- Executing any other tasks as assigned by the superior;
- Being adequately conversant with the Company's Management System;
- Implementing effectively the Company's Management System;
- Contributing to the development of new or the amendment of existing procedures;
- Promoting and supporting efforts for continual improvement.
