The School of Materials Science and Engineering has significantly changed over time. Key Responsibilities:

Supporting cuttingedge research in small molecule electrocatalysis for electrolysis and fuel cells.
Primarily investigating the correlation between catalysts' solidstate properties and their performance, including the development of new electrode materials for small molecule catalysis.
Providing daytoday assistance to the research team.
May have the opportunity to undertake openended research projects under the supervision of the research team.
Mentoring and guiding graduate students
Any other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

A PhD in Chemistry, Physics, Solidstate Physics, Electrochemistry, Materials Science, or a related field.
Proficient analytical and conceptual skills.
Capable of working autonomously or collaboratively within an R&D context.
Demonstrated track record of publishing papers in conferences and journals.
Willingness and aptitude for mentoring and guiding graduate students on relevant methodologies.
Consistent production of detailed reports and wellorganized documentation.
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English.
Extensive research background in electrocatalysis, catalyst development for fuel cells, and materials chemistry.
Ability to contribute effectively as a team member in experimental research support.
Strong capacity for independent research pursuits.
