Assistant Accountant - Singapore - SINGAPORE LAND GROUP LIMITED
Description
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the full spectrum of accounting function, including invoicing and processing receipts.
- Prepare monthly management accounts with supporting schedules and its variance analysis.
- Prepare income tax computation and gather information in relation to tax queries.
- Generate monthly aging reports and followup/document debt recovery actions taken.
- Prepare quarterly GST returns and collate information requested by corporate tax agents.
- Assist in drafting of statutory financial statements.
- Prepare all information request for annual internal and external audit.
- Handle interdepartment, external vendors and customer's queries.
- Prepare budgets based on submission from various departments.
- Generate adhoc financial information and participate in adhoc financerelated projects/system testing, as required.
- Support (Senior) Finance Manager on adhoc projects.
Job Requirements:
- At least 5 years of handson experience in finance operations. Experience in real estate industry preferred.
- Indepth knowledge of accounting and tax standards.
- Handson experience using SAP S4 Hana is a must.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Meticulous, high level of initiative and attention to detail and a good team player.
- Able to multitask and work under pressure.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills to maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
