    Roles & Responsibilities

    Location: 3 Temasek Ave

    Work Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 am - 5:30 pm

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Lead and drive R&D initiatives focused on advancing sustainable materials for 3D printing.
    • Oversee performance testing and refine process optimization for enhanced efficiency.
    • Conduct in-depth research on 3D printing processes, with a specialization in metallurgical material properties.
    • Evaluate and qualify new materials for 3D printing, emphasizing sustainability and minimizing environmental impact.
    • Design and develop 3D printable prototypes and innovative products for diverse applications, such as portable devices and medical equipment.
    • Address technical hurdles within 3D printing processes, including equipment maintenance and implementing performance enhancements.
    • Manage the seamless transition of 3D printing technology from research to production, overseeing pre and post-processing operations.
    • Cultivate intellectual property and expertise in various 3D printing-related domains.
    • Lead collaborative ventures with research partners and internal teams to foster innovation and drive projects to fruition.

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Engineering, or a related field.
    • Fresh PhD graduates, Master's holders with 1-2 years of industry experience, or Bachelor's degree holders with at least 3 years of relevant experience.
    • Strong grasp of engineering principles and fundamentals.
    • Profound knowledge of materials science and additive manufacturing processes.
    • 2-3 years of experience in the additive manufacturing sector, with a focus on metal materials like titanium, stainless steel, and aluminum.
    • Expertise in various 3D printing technologies, with a preference for laser powder bed fusion.
    • Familiarity with commonly used metal materials in additive manufacturing processes.
    • Preferred experience in setting up new 3D printing laboratories.
    • Proficiency in Materialise Magics, with additional skills in CAE (Computer-Aided Engineering) and CAD (Computer-Aided Design) being advantageous.
