This is a leadership role focusing on developing and reviewing the strategy of Singtel's hardware portfolio (smartphones, tablets, accessories, lifestyle products and SIM cards), while owning the governance of the overall financial targets across revenue drivers.


In addition, the role is key to support the execution of commercial agreements with our vendors and partners, and the benchmarking of commercial terms to ensure adherence.


This objective is to enable fact driven decision making through dashboards & insights, develop plans to realize revenue growth opportunities and mitigate gaps through collaborating with various internal & external stakeholders.

The incumbent will also be key to lead forecasting, and development of annual budgeting processes.

This will require strong understanding of P&L drivers, customer insights as well as effectiveness of various growth indicatives that are in play.

Responsibilities:


  • Overall hardware portfolio strategy development & maintenance across product categories, including identification of service innovation & new revenue streams
  • Develop operating rhythm and cadence to ensure financial targets are translated into trackable matrix, supported by campaigns & promotions
  • Lead the budgeting & forecasting process with Finance, and regularly review & update drivers and initiatives to meet set revenue targets
  • Ensure most favourable contract terms are secured, prepare necessary approval cadences and ensuring adherence of Singtel's internal requirements
  • Develop, improve and maintain integrated dashboard to aid decision making & automate existing portfolio management processes
  • Governance of rebates, inventory holding & other key metrics to ensure targeted outcomes are met
  • Drive new innovation & new annual initiatives and programs through IT, Ops & GTM
  • Develop post implementation review cadence on key campaigns & promotions to identify improvement areas & track performance against target
  • Lead engagement and ensure the cross functional collaboration and alignment with teams from Sales, Marketing, Finance, CLM, IT and other relevant departments relating to commercial agreements, launch of new initiatives and P&L management
  • Consultative leadership behaviour which encourages development of fact driven decision making across teams
  • Introduce and track NPS for Hardware from both Kantar and Quartrics to uplift customers' preference towards Singtel's hardware portfolio

Requirements:


  • Obtained a Bachelor's degree in business from a reputable university, with experience in Business Administration
  • Have 8+ years of relevant experience in strategy and performance management roles, including exposure in contract management with toptier companies
  • Possess skills in P&L management, strategy development and implementation, storyboard creation, and delivering presentations to Clevel executives
  • Have experience in Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) and process improvement
  • Possess change management skills, with the ability to effectively drive acceptance of changes within the workplace
  • Demonstrate strong analytical skills with great attention to detail
  • Be able to thrive in a fastpaced, demanding, and everchanging environment
  • Have excellent leadership and people skills, with the ability to motivate a team through transformative periods.
