Description

We are developing a smart robotic gripping system for vegetable harvesting in vertical farm environments. We're seeking a motivated Research Associate with expertise in mechanical design, building the embedded system, and control.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop a robust mechanical design for the gripping system, ensuring optimal functionality and durability.
Construct and systematically maintain the robotic gripper.
Design/implement control algorithm for the robotic gripper.
Finetune gripper's operational parameters to achieve optimal performance.
Assist RF to prepare the project deliveries and milestones.

Job Requirement:

Master's degree in STEM, Mechanical/Electrical/Mechatronics Engineering is preferred.
Experience in Python, SolidWorks/Inventor, Matlab.
Hands on experience on building embedded system using Arduino/ESP3
Hands on experience with 3D printers (FDM, SLA).
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Excellent time management and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Ability to meet deadlines.
