***As a Sr. Calibration engineer, you will be responsible for providing a wide variety of calibration and repairs on the laboratory and onsite instruments. You will be expected to cover all of the laboratory areas - Electrical, Dimensional, Mechanical (Pressure/Torque/Flow/Mass) and Temperature lab depending on the demand for the job.- Your responsibilities, at a glance: _
- Ensuring that all relevant calibrations are carried out as per the calibration schedule/register
- Carryout Lab/Site calibration work assigned to them under the direct supervision/guidance of technical head.
- Generating Calibration Certificate in compliance with ISO 17025:2017 standard.
- Assist in the preparation of Quality and Technical Documents.
- Identify and conduct training for staffs.
- Track and assist in arranging the Laboratory inventory management.
- Identify and troubleshoot issues with measurement equipment, and if necessary, perform repairs or coordinate repairs with external service providers.
- Assist in all Laboratory Quality Assurance activities such as housekeeping, Document control etc.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of calibration processes.
- Communicate with customers to understand their calibration needs and address inquiries
- Participation in Audits and preparation of related documents (First Party / Second Party & Third Party).
- Diploma / Degree
- Electrical / Electronics / Instrumentation / Mechanical
- 5+ Years of experience with hands on practical knowledge
- Experience in Control / Instrumentation / Process industry will be an added advantage.
- Knowledge in preparation and maintenance of quality documents based on ISO/IEC 17025, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 4500
- Approved Signatory for SAC-Singlas or equivalent for one or more calibration scopes will be preferred.
- Decent communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word and Powerpoint)
- Willingness to learn and travel
