Job Description:
- Basic counter duties like answering phone calls, allowing access to the door when the doorbell rings, provide assistance to anyone who enters the centre.
- Provide basic orientation to patients.
- Keep track and update of all patient data, including attendance, personal information, etc.
- Submit daily attendance to the Business Office for actualisation.
- Assist the centre to arrange the stations of each patient in the daily roster for easy reference for all nurses on duty.
- Assist to book and arrange for the pickup of blood samples for testing.
- To arrange any lastminute changes or amendments of the patients' roster (change of timing or dates).
- Assist to sign and check goods when there is delivery, making sure that there are no missing items.
- Keeping track of stocks, making sure to order when it is almost running low.
- Assist to order stationery or any medical items.
- Liaise with the store when in house stocks are running low.
- Liaise with the procurement department for any quotation or orders.
- Liaise with the nursing department for any relevant documents or information of any nurses.
- Assist to proceed invoices for the finance department to release payment to the respective vendors.
- Submitting weekly and monthly reports to relevant departments or parties.
- Representing the centre for any collections of items or stocks arrival.
- Assist to send documents to any relevant department for vetting or approval.
- Assist to write minutes for meetings.
- Performs other duties as assigned by the Senior Nurse Manager / Nurse Manager.
Requirements:
- GCE 'O' level with minimum of 3 credits including English.
- Familiarity with basic computer terminals is required.
- At least one year of clerical/ secretarial experience in medically related field is require
- Possess a positive, good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Resourceful, resultfocused and meticulous
- Keen learner who is able to manage tasks independently
