What the role is

  • Plan & direct timely consolidation of PA Group financial statements for statutory audit and submission to relevant authorities. Oversee management reporting (including data analysis reports), PA's fees & charges framework and Accounts receivable function.
Key duties and responsibilities that need to be performed to meet the primary objective of the job. This will include the important result areas (what) along with the rationale (why).

  • Plan, coordinate and oversee consolidation of SB-FRS compliant PA Group financial statements for audit, presentation in PA's annual report and submission to Parliament.
  • Coordinate statutory audit, ensure prompt responses to audit queries and provide progress update to PA Management on audit status and issues.
  • Oversee and ensure proper and accurate tracking of various funds / schemes under PA Headquarters.
  • Oversee accounts receivables.
  • Ensure accurate submission of statistical or financial information returns to Government Departments.
  • Manage PA's fees and charges framework.
  • Handle management reporting function which includes providing costing analysis and financial indicators to measure cost effectiveness and making recommendations for improvements.
  • Drive the development of checks on payments and claims using data analytics to flag out any irregularities.
  • Oversee the system access review for Workday.
  • Identify and support the constant review of financial policies to achieve greater strategic outcomes and betterment of PA with the use of data, including partnering other PA Divisions and other government agencies.
Other ad-hoc duties not covered under main responsibilities and duties.

  • Performs other duties as assigned by senior officers
