Senior Manager, Office of Procurement
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Category Strategy Management for selected category areas.
- Indepth knowledge of category areas and supply base.
- Drive cost down and devise negotiation plans.
- Supplier Relationship Management.
- Contract Management.
- Track performance of suppliers and category areas, including corrective actions where necessary.
- Procurement Project lead to drive S2C, P2P implementation initiatives.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Degree holder.
- At least 8 years work experience in sourcing and category management in IT/Indirect/Services Procurement.
- Practical Tech Knowledge
- Supply Base knowledge in assigned categories.
- Tech knowledge in assigned categories.
- Experienced in Category Management in Indirect Procurement & Services or IT.
- Ability to devise Commodity Strategy based on Stakeholder Requirements and Category's attributes/supply base.
- Supplier Relationship Management Skills.
- Negotiation Skills.
- Experienced in Procurement Process
- Source to Contract (S2C), Procure to Pay (P2P).
- Communication and Influencing skills
- Ability to understand, engage and influence stakeholders on requirements of assigned categories.
- Provide market input and supply roadmaps into decision making process.
- Drives changes to requirements and engage suppliers to supply SMU's needs at optimal cost, quality and speed.
- Able to communicate and ensure procurement processes are optimal in implementation of ERP.
