DESIGNATION :
Senior Manager, Office of Procurement


RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Category Strategy Management for selected category areas.
  • Indepth knowledge of category areas and supply base.
  • Drive cost down and devise negotiation plans.
  • Supplier Relationship Management.
  • Contract Management.
  • Track performance of suppliers and category areas, including corrective actions where necessary.
  • Procurement Project lead to drive S2C, P2P implementation initiatives.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Degree holder.
  • At least 8 years work experience in sourcing and category management in IT/Indirect/Services Procurement.
  • Practical Tech Knowledge
  • Supply Base knowledge in assigned categories.
  • Tech knowledge in assigned categories.
  • Experienced in Category Management in Indirect Procurement & Services or IT.
  • Ability to devise Commodity Strategy based on Stakeholder Requirements and Category's attributes/supply base.
  • Supplier Relationship Management Skills.
  • Negotiation Skills.
  • Experienced in Procurement Process
  • Source to Contract (S2C), Procure to Pay (P2P).
  • Communication and Influencing skills
  • Ability to understand, engage and influence stakeholders on requirements of assigned categories.
  • Provide market input and supply roadmaps into decision making process.
  • Drives changes to requirements and engage suppliers to supply SMU's needs at optimal cost, quality and speed.
  • Able to communicate and ensure procurement processes are optimal in implementation of ERP.
