Description
Kennedys is looking for a HR Manager to join our growing Singapore office.

This is an exciting opportunity to take responsibility for the smooth running of the HR function for our Singapore office, which currently consists of around 75 employees across both fee-earning and business services divisions.


Working closely with the Head of HR - APAC and our global HR team, you will deliver a first class HR service in line with the firm's strategy.

You will have broad experience across generalist HR processes (including reward, performance and recruitment) with a deep understanding of Singaporean employment law and regulations.

You will also have strong communication and stakeholder management skills, and a keen eye for detail.


This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced HR professional looking to take the next step in their career as part of an innovative and forward-thinking HR team.

This role will also offer the opportunity to support on wider HR initiatives and projects, including an ongoing HR transformation project to improve the way we work as a global HR team.

Kennedys HR team support the firm around the world with all people related matters.


The HR team is based in Chelmsford and London for the UK, Dublin for EMEA, Singapore, Hong Kong and Australia for APAC, Basking Ridge for US and London/LATAM for LATAM.

The areas of HR that we have responsibility for are Business Partnering, Recruitment (including partners and early careers), Reward, HR Systems and Analytics, Learning and Development, Corporate Social Responsibility and Diversity and Inclusion.

The HR function is also responsible for the Secretarial function in the UK and Singapore.


Key Responsibilities

  • Work with Head of HR
  • APAC to ensure the delivery of a first class service in line with the firm's strategy
  • Support, develop, mentor and coach direct reports or more junior team members (where applicable)
  • Lead the implementation of projects to a successful outcome
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key internal and external stakeholders globally
  • Work in conjunction with the wider HR team globally to ensure best practice
  • Drive thought leadership, innovative ways of thinking and a global approach
  • Drive strategic thinking and influence senior stakeholders globally
  • Escalation point for queries from more junior team members.

Required experience

  • Strong generalist HR skills in Singapore market
