6-10 years of experience gained primarily in Big 4 External Audit firms and potentially complemented by operational / financial role experience:
Added industry exposure covering energy and automation is a plus (not a must):
Able to travel approximately around 40% of the time
Our client is a renowned/global MNC in the automation and energy sector with an international presence.
The co also offers good future rotation opportunities beyond the IA functions. For this MNC, the audit role is designated as a door opener to attract strong talents where they start off to learn the business in the IA team. The internal audit team has a successful track record of rotating the IA professionals to other high profiles roles such as IT, finance, marketing, front lines etc after their IA stints.
The firm is looking for a
Regional Internal Auditor to improve the efficiency of processes and increase the level of internal controls for the business in the energy and automation digital solutions industry.
For this role, you report to the Head of IA (for APAC and EAJ) and is part of a team of 8 internal auditors based in Singapore.
Job scope:
- Scope the Internal Audit (IA) Mission
- Manage the IA Mission and the relationship with the auditees
- Organize fieldworks
- Conduct interviews, testing, data analysis in order to identify root causes, assess efficiency and effectiveness
- Propose recommendations to achieve compliance, improve efficiency and/or add value to the business
- Present recommendations to local management and Senior Management
- Deliver the final report and Executive Summary
- Followup with the auditees to ensure effective implementation of action plans in line with IA recommendations
Qualifications
- Undergraduate degree (preferably in Accounting) / Master / MBA of top universities
6-10 years of experience gained primarily in Big 4 External Audit firms and potentially complemented by operational / financial role experience:
Added industry exposure covering energy and automation is a plus (not a must):
Able to travel approximately 40% of the time (one assignment can take 3 to 4 weeks per trip):
- Able to manage senior stake holders
- Possess strong communication skills
- Cross cultural work environment experience
