Job Description Summary:

As part of our Global Component Repair business this role leads our Asia Repair Solutions team in developing and growing our vendor network for Component Repairs in the Asia Pacific region, in order to reach defined targets in safety, quality, delivery and cost.


RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Negotiate with dedicated providers according to specific policies, manage licenses and develop supplier and customer relationships.
  • Achieve the best contractual conditions while also ensuring internal/external customer satisfaction.
  • Department coordinates repair engineering support on behalf of suppliers in an effort to develop external repair capability in the Asia Pacific region.
  • Develops training, delivers it and sees into a proper roll out.
  • Ensure continuous business improvement according to benchmarks and standards and work with Cincinnati team in developing and implementing the process.
  • Define and improve Sourcing strategies at business or plant level.
  • Manages technical liaison activities with suppliers and customers.
  • Optimize opportunities for cost out and create win/win strategies.
  • Reporting to senior leadership regularly on metrics, goals and strategies.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college or relevant demonstrated experience. Minimum of 5 years of experience in Operations and/or Sourcing.
