Construction Manager - Singapore - Keppel Offshore & Marine
Description
The Construction manager to execute and complete the FPSO new built project as per contractual specification and quality standard with agreed timeline and safely.
- To enforce on HSE Focus IOGP/HIRA/GOLDEN Rule, Safety audit, Safety Campaigns and Drills. Weekly HSE walkthrough to focus on critical work area and carryout engagement of workforce on site.
- To understand Shipbuilding role and regulation, classification society ABS / MODU / SOLAS /BRC Regulatory rules
- Good experience in Ship building industry. Expertise in Steelwork/Structure fabrication, construction, erection, assembly, and testing
- Oversee new build specifications, verify designs, and ensure that the construction activities are complying to contract and engineering designs.
- Continuous review on construction progress against Project Schedule and report to the line Manager
- Ensuring that all construction and installations to FPSO are performed project Quality control, NDE examiners, inspection, QA/QC document, report, and quality analysis
- Ensure all issued drawing and documentation are latest revision and filed in order.
- Daily/weekly/monthly meeting with shipyard (Builder), Client, Classification and etc.
- To summarize and issue minutes of Meeting, Presentation slide and reports (daily, weekly, and monthly)
- Good in verbal and written communication in English. Possess good organizational, communication skills, presentation, and Reporting skills. The leadership and Supervisory skill to manage project team and shipyard.
- Able to use Project related software (autocad viewer, Microsoft projects etc)
- Required to commit with P78 project duration.
Required to be station overseas:
- China, CIMC shipyard for a period of minimum 1 year, if needed to travel to Korea to assist to complete new built of vessel hull for add 6 months. Korea, HHI shipyard a period of minimum 1.5 year
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Degree / Diploma in Naval Architecture / Civil / Marine and Offshore / Mechanical / Electrical Engineering, Certificate of Competency (Marine Engineer Officer) Class 1 (Motorship), or its equivalent.
- At least 8 years of relevant experience.
