The CO+I Supply Chain Quality team is seeking an energetic and innovative Electrical Supplier Quality Engineer with a passion for problem solving, process improvements, helping others, technology, and manufacturing operations.

Responsibilities:

Responsibilities:

Drives electrical equipment supplier quality improvement initiatives, supports supplier selection for the region and conducts supplier audits.
Leads part qualification processes through implementation of product quality plans, equipment inspections, factory witness testing, and manufacturing process qualifications.
Assesses equipment quality and manufacturing processes to ensure suppliers meet Microsoft capabilities and requirements, address nonconformances, mitigate escaping defects that may impact sites, and develop critical supplier engagement strategies to proactively address gaps.
Performs root cause analysis of equipment failures.
Provides technical support and guidance for improving equipment reliability.
Partners with supply chain, engineering, construction, and vendors to identify equipment quality performance gaps, testing protocols, and implement corrective actions at suppliers.

Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications

5+ years of experience in Quality, Manufacturing, process improvement or related experience in electrical system equipment such as LV/MV, PDUs, Transformers, UPS, etc.
Technical knowledge, ideally with experience in multiple sectors and industries
Experience with data center operations, EPC, or mission critical equipment
Experience with manufacturing environments, technical specifications

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain/Operations Management, Supply Chain Analytics, or related field AND 1+ year(s) internship experience in supply planning, operations, supply chain, indirect supply planning, technologyrelated supply chain, sourcing and manufacturing, or related experience
OR Master's Degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Business, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Supply Chain Analytics, or related field
OR equivalent experience
Lean 6 Sigma Greenbelt / Gemba experience.
ASQ Certification.

Microsoft Cloud Background Check:

This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
