What You'll Do


You will lead and suport th APC Sales Transformational projects and strategic initiatives which may encompass elements of go-to-market strategy, compettive strategy, operational improvement projects, new business model definition, etc.

Your primary role will be as a strategic advisor to the leadership team and provide the analytical skills, business consulting expertise, and project management leadership to define the regional strategy of APJC Sales and execute the defined strategic initiatives from that Strategy.


  • Lead the definition of the Regional strategy of the Central APJ Strategy and Planning Group. e.g. The Regional Partner Organization.
  • Develop business plans for the Central Sales Planning Group.
  • Lead the execution of strategic intiatives and transformational projects that supports Cisco's corporate and Regional strategy.
  • Provide the problem-solving and analytical skills as well as project management skills to ensure timely completion and delivery of the intiatives and projects.
  • Work closely with Subject Matter Experts and other Cisco business and technical teams, and/or external consultants to execute these projects.
  • Work across a variety of cross-functional topics/areas that encompasses the whole of Cisco's APJ business.

Who You'll Work With


The APJ Strategy, Planning & Operations (SPO) team is responsible for business intelligence, growth identification, market and sales strategy, planning, field enablement and sales operations.

We build and handle the decision-making organizational structures and forums to accelerate execution, development of strategy and business plans to identify and accelerate new growth and to develop the pathway for Cisco business evolution.

Amongst others, we drive initiatives from conception to execution, fostering alignment across theatres, segments and functions, seeking efficiency and consistency in management practices with the ultimate goal of accelerating Cisco's growth in APJC.


You will work with Executive Leadership and Area Sales Leaders to shape/drive top priorities and core initiaitves focused on long-range growth and profitability.


Who You Are


You have deep management consulting experiences, working for 4+ years as a Consultant with a total of about 6+ years total working exprerience from top tier strategy consultancy/advisory firms, ideally with proven experience as a Project Leader/ Engagement Manager level at these firms.


  • Knowledge of and experience in Enterprise, Channels, Commercial/Mid-Market Customer segment highly desirable but not mandatory.
  • Strong analytical skills and finance skills: experience in developing financial models highly desired.
  • Experience working in a complex highly-matrixed global organization and with virtual teams.
  • A strong teammate, building meaningful relationships across teams. You have strong collaboration skills, with amazing track record of leading and working with cross functional teams.
  • Excellent written, verbal communication, listening and presentation skills. Able to articulate complex ideas and strategies to people at all levels of the org.

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in a technical field and from a reputable university/college. MBA from top school desired; overseas study preferred but not required.
  • Strong interest and passion for technology or technology background and exprience highly desirable.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; strong presentation skills and executive presence, with the ability to address and influence both executive and mid-level management audiences.
  • A self-starter, independent and a driver. Detail oriented, have a 'can do' attitude, takes intiative and is highly organized. Acts with a sense of urgency.
