Local Unit & Position Description:

Job Description:

In this role, you will work closely with experts from around the world on a variety of challenging projects for global major clients in the oil & gas industry.

You will be expected to balance multiple projects within expectations and ensure quality of deliverables.

You may also be required to travel to other DNV GL and client locations globally to work with various project teams.

You will also be engaged in the business development process where you will be involved in the preparation of competitive tenders and bid for projects globally.

Some of the technical assessments you will be involved in:

Hazard Identification (HAZID) workshops;
Hazard and Operability (HAZOP) workshops;
Fire Hazards Analysis (FHA);
Quantitative Risk Assessment (QRA);
Escape, Evacuation and Rescue Analysis (EERA); and
Emergency Systems Survivability Analysis (ESSA).

Position Qualifications:

Qualifications:

Bachelors or Master's degree in Chemical, Mechanical or Process Engineering, or related engineering discipline;
Proven quantitative and numerical skills, ability to manipulate Excel spread sheets; and
Some knowledge in design safety engineering, or process design will be considered an added advantage.
