Description
**_Responsibilities:- *
- Responsible for day to day operations in the cement terminals to all maintenance and repair jobs including maintenance planning and scheduling of PM checks.
- To carry out and coordinate routine preventive maintenance & operations work in the plant by working closely with Plant Engineer / Senior Engineer.
- To perform necessary troubleshooting on machines and equipment (motors, bucket elevators, pneumatic gate valve, solenoid valves, air slides, mechanical/rotating parts and so on) as and when required.
- To maintain critical spare parts based on their lead time to source and availability.
- To maintain and update spare part supplier master list from time to time.
- To be responsible to control the operational expenses related to his scope of work such as spare parts purchase and contractors usage.
- To work as a team to achieve desired productivity and KPI.
- To prepare monthly physical stock reconciliation report and other reports as assigned by superior.
- To prepare and monitor the team's overtime record and update the management accordingly.
- To initiate and support on time renewal of statutory & safety license, calibration reports and others.
- To coordinate cement sampling and testing activities for every shipment.
- To consolidate the PM checklist and upload in the SAP system.
- To assist in raising purchase requests, contract service requests, new material creation, maintenance work order updates, GRN and SES, and others.
- To liaise with suppliers on spare parts and consumable parts purchases.
- To coordinate cement shipment receipts operations, draft surveyors, time sheet and others.
- Maintain the general housekeeping of the plant at desired level.
- To adhere to all MOM safety standards & regulations as well as group legislative safety requirement and able to conduct tool box talk to team in small groups; establish Risk Assessment for all type of maintenance work.
- To manage the safety and oversee the duties of adhoc mechanical/electrical contractors as well as monitor and evaluate the quality of the work.
- Assist in all other plant/operations related works as assigned by Superior.
