**Job Description Summary

  • The role, Cash Management Regional Lead APAC, is a member of the Treasury team of GE Vernova HQ. Treasury is responsible for GE Vernova's activities within Financial Reporting and Risk, Exposure Management, Trade Finance, Corporate Finance, Business Treasury, Insurance and Transaction Services. This role reports to Head of Cash Management, which reports to the Head of Corporate Finance, under the Vernova Treasurer.
  • Roles and Responsibilities _
  • Regional/Country owner of the Cash and intercompany funding Day 1 process for the enterprise, consistent with the framework set by the global leader.
  • Drive the Treasury capabilities required for cash and intercompany funding for the region/ country as a standalone business, defining and driving the target state capabilities and associated infrastructure required, consistent with the global strategy.
  • Operationalize the optimal governance framework for the country/regional Treasury operations, with appropriate policy, procedures and associated control testing within consistent global approach on risk framework.
  • Play a leading role in providing direct Treasury support for the business teams in the country/region, partnering with Treasury and Finance leadership to support business strategy, business plans, liquidity forecasts and results
  • Operationalize regional/ country cash management strategy to establish the most efficient bank infrastructure structure allowing for optimal and efficient cash pooling of company's cash positions across the world.
  • Support the company's direct cash flow forecasting process in the country/region that will provide intermediateterm visibility to regional and legal entitylevel cash flow.
  • Work closely with leadership and enabling functions (both regionally and globally) for holistic and aligned strategy associated with global cash. Be a driver of change to support optimal cash outcomes.
  • Be an agent of cultural change and simplification as a standalone organization. Provide local oversight support for other Treasury processes (exposure management, trade and transaction services) that are required to be carried out in the region/country this includes local bank operations, POA management, onshore derivatives and local trade finance instrument management.
  • Partner with external service providers including Banks, regulatory bodies in the region to support company objectives.
  • Display ability to attract and retain talent. Required to develop expertise within regional team and design optimal global delivery model.
  • Responsible for developing talent with appropriate training, mentorship and career pathing.
  • Represent organization in cross functional teams, actively challenging the status quo with a goal of improving global processes.
  • Leads others to find creative solutions to address complex problems that may impact the organization. Has the ability to evaluate quality of information received and questions conflicting data for analysis. Uses multiple internal and external resources outside of own function to help arrive at a decision.
  • Regional/Country involvement in either local or global projects with significant resource requirements, risk, and/or complexity including potential Business development/ portfolio changes.
  • Impact the regional/country team's ability to achieve service, quality, and timeliness of objectives. Set annual goals and objectives consistent with the global strategy, track progress and adjust where needed.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration / finance / economics or similar field
  • 7+ years Treasury management experience
