**The job in a nutshell: The Yoga Movement AV & Design must have a keen understanding of youth trend, art trend, and the fitness lifestyle movement in Asia and Internationally.
With a key understanding of YM and its affiliate's brand values and the direction of the business, the AV & Design will take a hands-on role with development of all look and feel aspects of the many touch points of the Yoga Movement brand and its affiliates.
The AV & Design is expected to keep abreast with artwork and communication trends, on and offline, to ensure that our brand continuously delivers current, relevant content that is on-brand and market leading.
This will be depicted mainly through graphic design, video and animation, creative direction of outsourced production, and a strong in-studio understanding from a creative and service perspective.
The AV & Design will also be responsible for the development of all campaign material and its roll out across both the digital and physical platforms.
Beyond digital, and campaign output, the AV & Design will also play a part in merch design and production, mold a consistent look to internal documents, Yoga Movement Academy manuals, in-studio signage, visual merchandising support docs, and other key communicative tools to be used by the greater YM team.
**The skills you'll need: This job is for you if you have the following skill set;- Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Premier Pro, Adobe After Effects or equivalent video and animation tools
- Ability to storyboard, direct, shoot and edit videos
- Ability to create art and designs from scratch
- An interest or keen understanding of the local fitness scene
- Responsible for the design and rollout of all campaign material
- Develop the AV content behind these campaigns to service both 'online' and instudio' experience of the client base
- Work with the team to understand the mechanics of monthly promotions and how these affect design and provide positive and constructive advice on past and potential campaign activation
- Forwardthinking in way of ideation contribution towards an annual marketing plan and adhere to timelines and budgets for development and production of campaign
- Be responsible for the design and support of the development of Merch and Visual Merchandising items, including but not limited to; swing tags, price guides, fit guides, look books, and carriers
- Release about 2030 world class videos yearly, from campaign videos to event recaps to howto tutorials all complete with design and animation
- Involved in the video process from storyboarding to shootingright down to the final cut.
- Be well acquainted with video editing tools and have a good grasp of weaving animations into videos
- Ability to think out of the box, and have a wealthy bank of video inspos in their backpocket.
- Manage relationships with vendors, ensuring business needs are met while providing creative direction, and being the key brand guardian with final approval on visuals in all mediums.
They should be passionate about not letting a single piece of branded material — whether in-house or external — go out, without being on point and on-brand.
We call this, painting things with "The YM Brush".
They will have influence around every collateral, including but not limited to campaign designs, O2O collaterals, internal documents, Yoga Movement Academy and Specialty classes.
Most importantly, they will package all imagery — video and still — with the same look and feel to create a holistic storytelling for every campaign, print, or digital collateral.
