**Job Description:
Support in Shelter Operations

  • Provide administrative and operational support in overall shelter operations.
  • Handle daytoday general queries from shelter residents. Manage general disputes that may occur between coliving shelter residents\
  • Assist in the admission and orientation of new shelter residents.
  • Liaise with external parties for maintenance of shelter premises
  • Support in maintaining the security, health and safety of the shelter environment and liaise with external parties during emergencies (e.g., CNB, Police, Ambulance etc.)
  • Develop, implement, and improve processes and effectiveness of incident management within the shelter environment.
  • Respond to incidents within shelter units, such as deescalating crisis situations and notify Management / funder agency (MSF/SCORE) for next action step within 24 hours.

Administration

  • Support the maintenance and update of Operation SOP manual (include urine test, etc.).
  • Issue of warning letters to residents for noncompliance to shelter regulations.
  • Make recommendations for discharge of residents to the Discharge Committee.
  • Collect statistics for monitoring and evaluation of activities and programmes of the shelter.
  • Implement information/data management system for effective collection and maintaining of client and operational data.
  • Support other related activities as assigned

Technical Competencies:


  • Minimum Degree or Diploma in relevant disciplines
  • At least 2 years of relevant working experiences in similar sector
  • Willing to work shifts hours (including weekends, overnight shifts) and be operationally ready for emergency deployment on off days
  • Conversant with IT systems, Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook
