Team Description

Sabre enables the distribution of aviation, hospitality and land content in an efficient manner to travel agencies.

The GDS distribution platform has been the most efficient interface between buyers and sellers of airline inventory for several decades.

Sabre is creating a new marketplace for personalized travel. We partner with airlines, hoteliers, agencies and other travel partners to retail, distribute and fulfill travel.

The Partner Market Strategic Business Development team aims to create a winning strategy in markets, where Sabre operates through a distributor.

We are looking for a talented graduating student to join us as a Strategic Business Development intern.

Role and Responsibilities

  • Be a part of our Agency Sales Team focusing on Strategic Business Development with our partners in APAC & EMEA
  • Support our EMEA growth strategy and research and generate lists of potential partners in new markets.
  • Analyze data and conduct surveys and help us understand what works and what doesn't in our partner markets.
  • Propose ideas on how we can set up our partnerships for success, improve performance and drive change.
  • Provide input on new business development initiatives and help prepare financial business case and presentations.
  • Work closely with the PTC team and partner managers and drive adoption of Sabre products in partner markets using the APAC Products Credit Program
  • Provide ideas to simplify the APAC Products Credit Program for the next program year.
  • Any other Strategic Business Development administration tasks

Qualifications and Education Requirements:

Must Have Skills:

  • Under graduating student(s) majoring in Strategy, Finance, Business, Economics or any relevant business major.
  • Analytical, strategic and financial acumen
  • Proficient in PowerPoint, Financial modeling and data analysis in Excel
  • Can do attitude/ mindset.
  • Passionate about travel business
  • Enthusiasm for learning new concepts.

Nice to Have Skills:

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to multitask.
  • Maturity, professionalism, and high level of discretion

Important Note:

This is an On-site internship, wherein the intern would be expected to work from office for at least 3 days a week.

Only those students currently residing in Singapore and permitted to intern in Singapore, are eligible to apply.

Internship Duration: 3 months (Starting May 2024)
