A newly formed team called Platform and Cloud services, which is part of the wider Cloud Services team, looks after various services such as public/private cloud, compute (Linux/Windows) and core infra services.

This team provides support for the products using a Follow the Sun Model both during the week and at weekends and implement projects and upgrades.

Responsibilities:

Key Responsibilities includes;

Primarily provide technical leadership for core infra services such as LDAP, SAML, OAUTH, DDI (DNS,DHCP, IPAM), NTP/PTP Time Server
Build, test and deliver new services and improvement not limited to above platform services, and other cloud services as necessary.
Provide onsite L2/L3 support to monitor and work on service restoration of platform services deployed globally when incident takes place, under FollowtheSun support model or provide oncall support as necessary.
Identify opportunity to automate manual steps or areas for improvement to remediate or mitigate operational risks, and directly contribute on coding to manage the platform effectively.
Collaboratively work with Engineering function and other IT teams to discuss and agree on the enhancement and improvement to address challenges or issues.
Contribute on documenting operational run books, and give coaching to team members as required.

Requirements (indicate mandatory and/or preferred):

Skills & Experience Mandatory:

5 years of experience, strong knowledge on LDAP, SAML and OAUTH with enterprise support experience. Preferrably Forgerock platform product suits.
Handson and practical knowledge on BlueCat DDI ( DNS, DHCP, IPAM) solutions build out, client migration, and support the platform
Working experience on VMWare vSphere products such as ESXi, vCenter to build the highly resilient server virtualization platform and manage the environment effectively using the tools CLI and vRealize Operations.
NTP/PTP Time server(preferrably Meinberg) support experience in a submicroseconds precision required environment.

Preferred:

Knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems
Understanding of GitOps and SRE
Scripting and source control skills (e.g. Python, Bash, PowerShell and Git)
Public Cloud such as AWS, Azure experience

Willingness to work in a fastpaced environment
Ability to work with mínimal supervision and on multiple tasks simultaneously.
Excellent time management and prioritisation of work tasks
Utilisation of own initiative to resolve issues
Exceptional interpersonal skills including teamwork, facilitation and negotiation
Excellent English written, verbal, and presentation skills
Business and analytical problem solving skills.
Ability to understand business context and requirements and discuss techinical details at different levels based on the audience
