Duties and Responsibilities

Overseeing receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations.

Manage the efficient and effective day-to-day operation of the stores, chillers, freezers in the

centre.

Take delivery of all incoming donations / purchased ingredients and goods.

Reconcile all incoming goods with donations / Purchase Orders (PO) / Delivery Orders (DO).

Manage inventory/supplies such as containers, packing materials, ingredients for food preparation

and cooking are sufficient and at the right levels of stock.

For Donations-in-Kind, to make record based on existing internal guideline to record. accordingly.

Keep up-to-date records of receipt, records or acknowledge the donation out in kind / removal of

stocks/ items from the stores

Responsible for packing and labeling the goods based on Last In First Out (LIFO).

Ensure all expired goods are removed from the store to create space for new goods coming in.

Manage volunteers that comes to volunteer and take every effort to create a happy and productive

environment.

Ensuring effective and safe use of store / warehouse equipment.

Maintaining documentation and keeping accurate records of store / warehouse activities.

Maintaining awareness and knowledge of the condition and location of fleet vehicles.

Assisting with deliveries where required.

Education and /or Work Experience Requirements

5+ years of store / warehouse management experience.

Excellent understanding of warehouse management procedures.

Proficient knowledge of inventory and inventory controls.

Valid drivers' license.

Ability to operate forklift effectively.

Proficient computer skills.

Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal.

Outstanding leadership, organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving skills.

Strong people skills.

Available to work extended hours.

A team player, good interpersonal and communication skills

Self-driven, able to work under pressure and meet deadlines

Meticulous and organised
