Description
We are looking for an
Accountant for our client who will report directly to the CFO.


Responsibilities

  • Responsible for full spectrum of Finance and Accounting responsibilities for the Singapore entity.
  • Ensure all trade activities comply with all aspects of the Company Trading Policy.
  • Ensure all transactions are entered into Trade Reporting Tool in a timely manner and are kept up to date.
  • Accurate monthly reconciliation of Trade Reporting Tool to SAP and all relevant balance sheet accounts.
  • Ensure monthly financial process is accurate and up to date, including posting of transactions as appropriate in SAP and adhere to head office finance month & year end timelines.
  • Manage the preparation of month end financial statements, bank, GL reconciliations and Blackline submissions.
  • Manage and resolve intercompany mismatches.
  • Prepare monthly reporting pack to the CFO and Board for review.
  • Responsible for corporate tax, GST and other statutory submissions.
  • Manage cash forecast and ensure timely payment to suppliers.
  • Liaise with auditors, tax agents, banks and Group Finance
  • Support the implementation of accounting processes and strong internal controls to ensure governance over accounting and reporting activities.
  • Support ad hoc projects
