Description

Responsible and overall in-charge of QA/QC implementation and documentation at the precast factory.

Responsible for monitoring and checking the conformity of concrete production.
Ensure tests and checks are done in accordance to clients' specifications.
Responsible for enforcing the control of work processes to provide quality product.
Implements the Quality inspection and material test plan.
Oversees lab operations like cube testing, silt content test, moisture content tests etc.
Acts as liaison officer to client and consultants.
Prepares for external audit. (ISO, EN206, PAS etc.)
Provide supervision and inspection in batching plant installation, carousel installation including commissioning.
Derive Project Quality Plan for new projects and make amendments/revisions to current projects accordingly.
Monitor and prepare QA/QC documents for client submissions as requested by LTA.
Assist Quality Manager and General Manager to prepare new QA/QC documents for the company level.
Prepare and maintain ISO documents and do internal audit on IMS and ISO.
Coordinates for EN206 certifications for batching plant.
Arrange materials testing for incoming materials such as cement, sand, aggregates, admixtures, rebars etc.
Ensures that RMC used by plant complies to standards set by consultants.
Organizes inspections for Prepour, post pour and predelivery inspections of all elements ensuring all works done in compliance to clients' standards.
Supervise operational tunnel segment movements prior to repair works, coating works, storage and delivery.
Responsible in the implementation of traceability system (VMT) in the precast plant.
Ensure that all elements were tracked and recorded inside VMT.
Coordinates and ensure any VMT issues are highlighted and rectified accordingly.
Prepares daily report, weekly report and monthly report for submission to client.
Liaise to consultant with regards to product acceptance.
Monitors moisture probe readings and keep record and documents as per LTA requirement.
Any ad hoc activities assigned by QC manager/ Plant Manager.
Degree in civil enginnering.
Minimum 10 years experience in the precast projects.
