Responsibilities:


  • Assist and support the project teams on all NDT matters.
  • Prepare NDT procedures for assigned project.
  • Review Vendor/ subcontractor NDT procedures, processes and documentation in order to determine that applicable NDT requirements are satisfied.
  • Review vendor/subcontractor NDT personnel certifications
  • Implement NDT personnel verification program and NDT surveillance program in projects when required.
  • Coordinate failure analyses and root cause analysis on NDT related issues.
  • Review clients' specifications and scopes of work examine pipe metallurgy and prepare/review detailed NDT procedures to achieve maximum productivity in accordance with specified quality.
  • Review subcontractors' documents and technical qualifications.
  • Assist in subcontractor assessments/audits.
  • Review and approve subcontractors' NDT procedures.
  • Ensure that records are maintained for all NDT activities to demonstrate achievement of client requirements. Implement NDT personnel verification program and NDT surveillance program in projects when required.

Qualifications:

  • Degree or Diploma in Mech or any relevant Engineering discipline. Degree is preferred.
  • ASNT Level III certification or equivalent in all commonly used methods
  • Minimum 5 to 7 years' experience in onshore/offshore Oil & Gas area or FPSO line(s) or equivalent
  • Working knowledge of quality assurance, quality control, classification Relevant working experience in oil and gas sector in a similar position
