Description
Job Responsibilites- Design, and set up warehouse operation, in compliance to regulation and safety
- Optimisation of space and manpower to ensure warehouse operation can cater for both storage and distribution support
- Manage daily operations to ensure on time delivery to customers
- Develop and implement inbound/outbound logistics process enhancement through system automation, process improvement
- Lead & train staff on receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing program, policies and procedures.
- Supervise, coach and develop the next level of supervisory position.
- Support Biz Dev. on customers' RFQ and advise on facilities to be charged (eg special conditions)
- Act as escalation point for major customers and site tour for new customer account
- Facilitator for external vendors and internal stakeholders
- KPI management and CI(Continuous Improvement) planning and execution
- Achieve financial objectives by preparing an annual budget; scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; initiating corrective actions.
- Interface with all key stakeholders & cross functional teams on requirements and changes and plan logistics support
- Any other adhoc duties assigned
