Job Responsibilites

  • Design, and set up warehouse operation, in compliance to regulation and safety
  • Optimisation of space and manpower to ensure warehouse operation can cater for both storage and distribution support
  • Manage daily operations to ensure on time delivery to customers
  • Develop and implement inbound/outbound logistics process enhancement through system automation, process improvement
  • Lead & train staff on receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing program, policies and procedures.
  • Supervise, coach and develop the next level of supervisory position.
  • Support Biz Dev. on customers' RFQ and advise on facilities to be charged (eg special conditions)
  • Act as escalation point for major customers and site tour for new customer account
  • Facilitator for external vendors and internal stakeholders
  • KPI management and CI(Continuous Improvement) planning and execution
  • Achieve financial objectives by preparing an annual budget; scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; initiating corrective actions.
  • Interface with all key stakeholders & cross functional teams on requirements and changes and plan logistics support
  • Any other adhoc duties assigned
